Commack, NY, August 26, 2015 – Gemini Pharmaceuticals Inc., a global manufacturer of specialty pharmaceuticals, Over the Counter (OTC) pharmaceuticals, and dietary and nutritional supplements for the past 30 years, announces the appointment of Mark J. Gaeta as the Chief Operating Officer.
Mark has over 35 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical and dietary supplement industries. His background includes the design, construction oversight, and subsequent start-up management of facilities for a number of pharmaceutical and nutritional companies. This includes one of the first facilities cGMP certified within the NNFA program which, upon completion, was named Nutritional Outlook’s Manufacturer of the Year. Additionally, Mark played a key role in the rehabilitation of several generic pharmaceutical companies.
He previously has held executive and senior leadership positions including Chief Operating and Quality Officer, COO, VP Manufacturing, VP Planning and Administration, Director Engineering and Plant Engineer at large supplement and pharmaceutical (both ethical and generic) companies.
Mark has served on the Government Relations Committee for AHPA as well as the Quality Group for NPA (formally NNFA) and made significant contributions to the NPA GMP program. He has lectured at several Universities and government agencies on topics ranging from cGMP, Quality Control and Quality Assurance, Environmental Compliance, and Air and Water Pollution Abatement.
